ADDED:Honda Insight price in Bangladesh: a reconditioned Honda Insight hybrid (ZE4) costs about ৳31.5 – 42.5 Lakh for a 2021 model and ৳31.5 – 44 Lakh for 2022. The LX is the cheapest; the EX Black Style and EX Prime Style are the dearest. 2022 is the last model year, because Honda stopped selling the Insight in Japan at the end of 2022, so there are no 2023-and-newer Insights.
The Insight is a quiet, low and wide hybrid sedan: 4,675 mm long and 1,820 mm wide, built on the same platform family as the Honda Civic, with Honda’s two-motor hybrid system. Cars made in 2020 or earlier can no longer be imported.

The lower end of each range is an LX; the upper end is the EX Prime Style or an EX Black Style with low mileage. 2021 and 2022 buyers are usually on a budget, so we price grade 4 cars with up to about 150,000 km (grade 3.5 up to about 120,000 km). Honda stopped making the Insight, so very few cars reach auction, and the price depends a lot on the exact car. 2021 Insights can only be imported until December 2026; a 2022 Insight is the last chance after that.

Fuel Economy and Running Cost in Bangladesh
- The two-motor hybrid runs on electricity at low speed, so fuel cost in city traffic is very low.
- The hybrid falls in the hybrid duty slab, so import duty is lower than for a petrol sedan of the same size.
- Annual BRTA tax: 1,500 cc – the up-to-1,500 cc bracket, one of the lowest for a sedan this size.
- Honda parts are easy to find in Dhaka; the hybrid parts are shared with the Honda Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid.
What to Check Before Buying a Reconditioned Honda Insight
- Chassis code (ZE4), package and real mileage on the auction sheet.
- Hybrid battery health and warning lights on the dashboard.
- Low front bumper and wheels – a low sedan scrapes on speed breakers.
- Accident repair notes on the sheet and the paint around the doors and bumpers.

এরপর দেখা যায় ভুল চেসিস নম্বর দেওয়া হয়েছে, মাইলেজ ট্যাম্পারিং হয়েছে। এমনও ঘটে যে একটা চেসিস নম্বরের রিপোর্ট দেখানো হয়েছিল, যেখানে গাড়িটা ৪.৫ গ্রেডের ভালো, কিন্তু হাতে আসে অন্য একটা গাড়ি – কাস্টমার ৬ মাস পর দেখেন চেসিস নম্বর আলাদা। আবার কেউ কেউ খারাপ অকশন হাউস থেকে গাড়ি কিনে কাস্টমারকে ধরিয়ে দেয়।
